The album,
early
Hip-hop is 53. He's turning 49 — and answering the ageism talk the only way that counts: with a record.
Twelve tracks. Half produced by D.R.U.G.S. Beats, half by K-Rec. Fun-filled bars of wisdom and introspective grown-man lyrics — adult contemporary hip-hop for foundational rap fans. First single: "4Eva Chemicals."
Explicit Uncut version — the mastered release lands everywhere 09.11.26.
It's always been in his nature to go where he could be heard.
The Reel
Stills from the current era. Drag it.
A Chicago-born emcee who left home to be heard — and built a two-decade career in Atlanta doing exactly that.

The Story
4-IZE has worn glasses since the third grade — so he takes the name as a badge, not an insult.
A Chicago-born emcee who left home to chase a professional music career in Atlanta, it's always been in his nature to go where he could be heard. In the 99 & the 2000, he ran rap-battle competitions and open mics to put his craft in front of anybody who'd listen.
His childhood friend Ludacris took notice and featured him on his first two albums — Back for the First Time and Word of Mouf. Soon after, 4-IZE joined the group The Firemen alongside Teck Holmes of MTV's Real World: Hawaii.
From videos on BET Uncut and work with MF DOOM, to an episode of American Greed on CNBC, to rapping every single day on social media, 4-IZE keeps staying true to himself and persevering in a volatile industry.
